Welcome

Double SunDog Ranch Website!
Scott and Katie invite you to meet our Double SunDog

pleasure to learn with. We have a growing herd
of amazing Nigerian Dwarf Dairy
Goats as well
as, 1st and 2nd generation mini-oberhasli animals.

We
are located on our two acre, bit of heaven
which is located
20
miles north of the beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
This ever expanding community rises above the turquoise
blue waters created by the Colorado River. It divides
Arizona and California which plays host to water sports up
and down it's banks.
Our community boasts of year round
outdoor entertainment! Summers abound with water
sports, sunny hot days and exciting monsoon storms. Winters
are filled with golfing, mountain climbing, off roading,
shopping, fine dining, cultural events; as well as,
community
events like London Bridge Days, Classic Car Shows,
Boat Regattas, Turquoise Circuit Rodeo Finals and
The World Champion Personal Watercraft Competition
held each October.
These babies are our
heart... Hannah Ivie and Layla Brooke!
2009 will mark our fourth year
of participation in linear appraisal and 2007 was our
first
year of DHIA. One day milk
tests just got our hooves wet so we just
jumped in and tried 305 day test for ourselves. Of the 7
girls on test for 2007, all girls received their star milker awards.
2008 was difficult to get our testing schedule so we
will try again for 2009.
We
are very proud of the ladies
in our herd providing such
lovely babies, shine in the showring and fill a hefty pail. 2009 is
slated to be another busy year here
at Double SunDog. I hope we catch up with you
at a show or goat event somewhere
here in the SouthWest.
For
