Welcome to our

Double SunDog Ranch Website!

Our 2011 Kid Crop was stunning. We have a sold out on 2011 kids. A huge thanks to those of you who have placed our dear babies with your herd. I hope they please you and offer what you are looking for in a small packaged dairy goat!

Scott and Katie invite you to meet our Double SunDog dairy herd that we have had the pleasure to learn with. We have a growing herd of amazing Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats.

Double SunDog Ranch has Re-Located to Needles, CA. We have rented the farm and will be temporarily living with my mom on her 2.5 Acre place. I grew up there from junior high til college and kept my first horse there. Realized that I was mad in love with Scott there. Now returning full circle to my childhood home with Scott and our down sized dairy herd.

Life will be different, but without change, positive change how can we grow? So 2012 marks yet another year, another chapter in our lives. With two beautiful daughters living in Northern California, with their 4 amazing children, 10 hours away our goals have changed. We are in SAVING money mode! God Willing, we will find ourselves close to family and friends one day soon. Thank you Scott for the endless hours of work you put into making my dreams come true. I have alot of baggage, I mean... animals that make me easier to live with and I will always tote with me!

In the mean time, please visit us! We are just 30 minutes north of our Lake Havasu property. We will have room for visitors and oh boy do I love visitors! Our place is underconstruction, but will be a new and exciting experience.

A little about our herd..... I chose our first foundation does summer 2003. I took my time and researched as I learned. I attended as many opportunites over the years to get a  feel for being a better breeder. I attended shows and fairs and Goat Days and conventions galore. We have had our fair share of successes and failures, happiness and sadness. Along the way we have made some incredible friendships. I have found that I am not the lonely goat girl , there are many others that share my passion. To those people, I miss you terribly and cannot wait to meet up at another goat event! In the mean time, I will see you online.

Our participation in the programs that ADGA provides has given us the opportunity to really learn. Our 2011  L.A. was May 6th. As always, it was an amazing eductional opportunity. I tell my friends and family, it was like going to school. I love to learn and what better way but hands on. My Own Goats!! We are super excited about milk weights and hope to continue with milk test through the years. I would  like to commend the new owners of some of our precious babies who are holding their own in the show ring and the milk pail. We appreciate that you love them as much as we do! Thanks again for taking them into your fine care.

We invite you to...

Sit back and enjoy your visit!! We welcome your cyber-tour and introduce you to us and our goat family we love so dearly.
